Stockroom by Clearline.

Know what is on the shelf, on every truck, and on every job — without a clipboard.

Built for electricians, plumbers, HVAC and any trade that keeps parts in a warehouse and on trucks. Every part that moves is recorded from a phone in the moment it moves, so on-hand, job cost and reorder are always true instead of always guessed.

Every truckis a location with its own on-hand, not a rumor
Job costbuilt from the parts actually pulled to the job
Never refuseda tech can always record the pull, even to a negative
The problem
Nobody knows what is on truck four. Truck four knows. It just never told anyone.
01

Parts walk

A breaker leaves the warehouse, rides three trucks, and ends up on a job nobody billed. Shrinkage is not theft most of the time — it is silence.

02

The reorder that is always late

You find out you are out of 1/2" EMT connectors when the tech is standing at the panel. Stockroom tells you on Monday morning, by supplier, with a PO ready.

03

Counts that take a Saturday

A count walk from a phone, one truck at a time, posting variance as it goes. No spreadsheet, no re-keying, no Saturday.

What it does

Everything it does, in the order you will use it.

Stockroom does one job for one kind of business. Nothing here needs a manual, and nothing is bolted on for a feature list.

01

Every movement, from a phone, in the moment

Received from supplier, used on a job, moved truck to truck, damaged, correction. Scan the barcode with the camera or search; the movement is recorded before the tailgate closes.

02

On-hand by location

Warehouse and each truck separately. Ask what is on truck four and get an answer, with the history of how it got there.

03

Count walks

Open a count for one location, walk it, enter what you see. The variance posts as a movement with a reason, and the audit trail keeps both numbers.

04

Reorder, by supplier

Suggestions from minimums and recent burn, grouped by supplier. Turn a suggestion into a purchase order, then receive against it line by line.

05

Job cost you can invoice from

Every part pulled to a job carries its cost. Bill the job from what was actually used, not from a tech's memory on Friday.

06

Reports that answer the money questions

Value on hand (snapshotted nightly), shrinkage, dead stock, and cost by job. CSV in, CSV out, so your accountant is not locked out.

Who it's for

One location, real customers, no IT department.

Stockroom is priced and built for a single business, and grows to a second location or a second chair when you do.

Built to hold up

The things we got right on purpose.

Small software still has to be correct. These are the rules the database enforces so the page never has to be trusted.

  • Movements are the only thing that changes stock. — On-hand, value, reorder and job cost are all computed from the movement ledger. A count is a movement; a correction is a movement. The ledger can rebuild every number from scratch, and a nightly check proves it still can.
  • A tech is never refused. — If the system thinks the last one is gone and the tech is holding it, the pull is recorded and the negative is flagged for the office. An app that refuses field techs teaches them to stop recording.
  • Money is for admins. — Techs see quantities, locations and jobs. Cost, value and reports are admin-only, enforced in the database, not hidden by a menu.
  • Alerts do not double-send. — The low-stock alert remembers what it already told you. A part that is still low tomorrow does not become a second email.
What comes with it

Your name on it, and a poster for the wall.

Every Stockroom is set up as your business, not as ours. Two things come with it that you do not have to ask for.

A printable QR poster

A staff card for the shop wall and the trucks: one code your crew scans to sign in, with the app already chosen. There is no customer code, because a stock system has no customers.

  • Staff code — the big one, since it is the only one. Your people scan it to sign in, with the app already chosen.
  • Prints on a normal sheet; save it as a PDF and email it if you would rather.
  • The codes point at clearlineprotocol.com, never at a server address, so a sheet taped to a wall keeps working if we move anything.

Your logo, your colour, your details

Send us your logo and we put it on the app and on the poster. Pick a colour and the buttons, badges and highlights take it. Your name, address, hours and phone are what your customers see — ours is not on the screen anywhere.

  • Your mark in the header, and beside every one of your staff in the back office
  • One accent colour, checked so text stays readable against it
  • No logo yet? Your initials on your colour, which looks deliberate rather than missing

Pricing

One flat monthly price. No contract.

Priced per business, billed monthly, cancel by email. Card processing, where you turn it on, is Stripe’s standard rate and goes through your own Stripe account. Tell us about the shop and you will get a plain number, not a quote deck.

Clearline Protocol Software

Run Stockroom by next week.

Tell us the business, the hours, and what goes wrong today. We set it up, hand you the key, and you are taking it live the same day.
