Shopline by Clearline.

A small online store for a shop that sells real things — sizes, colours, shipping and all.

For the boutique, the surf shop, the feed store, the maker with a following. Products with options, honest stock counts, flat or free-over shipping, local pickup, and orders customers can track from a link — without you becoming a web developer.

The problem
The big platforms are built for a thousand SKUs and a marketing team. You have forty products and a Saturday.
01

Selling the last medium twice

Stock lives on the variant, checkout reserves it, and an abandoned cart gives it back. The second buyer sees "sold out" instead of an apology email.

02

Shipping that costs you money

Flat rates by weight, free over a threshold you choose, limits to the states you actually ship to, and pickup for locals. Checked at checkout against the real basket, not a guess.

03

Orders in three places

The order, its payment, its stock moves and its fulfilment are one record. When someone asks "where is my order," the tracking link answers.

What it does

Everything it does, in the order you will use it.

Shopline does one job for one kind of business. Nothing here needs a manual, and nothing is bolted on for a feature list.

01

Products with options

Define Size and Colour once; Shopline builds the variants. Each one carries its own SKU, price, weight and stock, because that is what actually sells.

02

A storefront that is yours

Your name, your collections, your products, at your own address. Cart, checkout, order tracking — nothing for the customer to sign up for.

03

Checkout that trusts nothing from the browser

Every line is re-priced from the catalogue, the shipping rate is re-checked against address and weight, and only then is the order written and paid.

04

Shipping rules you can explain

Flat rates, free-over thresholds, per-state limits, local pickup. Change them from your phone.

05

Orders and fulfilment

New orders in one list; mark them fulfilled as they go out. Cancel or refund with a reason, and the stock returns with a record.

06

Inventory you can audit

Every stock change has a reason: sold, returned, received, corrected. Low-stock is a view, not a feeling.

Who it's for

One location, real customers, no IT department.

Shopline is priced and built for a single business, and grows to a second location or a second chair when you do.

Built to hold up

The things we got right on purpose.

Small software still has to be correct. These are the rules the database enforces so the page never has to be trusted.

  • Prices are snapshotted at the moment of sale. — Change a price tomorrow and yesterday's order still says what the customer paid. The order's money never changes after it is written.
  • Stock cannot be sold twice. — Checkout reserves the variant; payment confirms it; an abandoned checkout releases it after thirty minutes. All of it in the database, none of it in the page.
  • Order numbers are unique per shop. — A locked counter hands them out; two orders at the same instant get two numbers.
  • The tracking link is the customer's only key. — An opaque token per order, so tracking needs no account and guessing gets nothing.
What comes with it

Your name on it, and a poster for the wall.

Every Shopline is set up as your business, not as ours. Two things come with it that you do not have to ask for.

A printable QR poster

A sheet for the till or the door with a code your customers scan to shop from their phone. No app to install; it opens your storefront.

  • Customer code — large, so a phone reads it from across the shop. It opens your storefront.
  • Staff code — small, fenced off at the bottom, marked not for customers. Your people scan it to sign in, with the app already chosen.
  • Prints on a normal sheet; save it as a PDF and email it if you would rather.
  • The codes point at clearlineprotocol.com, never at a server address, so a sheet taped to a wall keeps working if we move anything.

Your logo, your colour, your details

Send us your logo and we put it on the app and on the poster. Pick a colour and the buttons, badges and highlights take it. Your name, address, hours and phone are what your customers see — ours is not on the screen anywhere.

  • Your mark in the header, and beside every one of your staff in the back office
  • One accent colour, checked so text stays readable against it
  • No logo yet? Your initials on your colour, which looks deliberate rather than missing

Pricing

One flat monthly price. No contract.

Priced per business, billed monthly, cancel by email. Card processing, where you turn it on, is Stripe’s standard rate and goes through your own Stripe account. Tell us about the shop and you will get a plain number, not a quote deck.

Clearline Protocol Software

Run Shopline by next week.

Tell us the business, the hours, and what goes wrong today. We set it up, hand you the key, and you are taking orders the same day.
