Callline by Clearline.
The AI that makes the calls you never have time for. Appointment confirmations for Bookline, order-ready calls for Order-Ahead, reminders.
Callline dials out. The day before an appointment it calls the client, asks if they can still make it, and takes a yes, a reschedule, or a cancellation on the spot — against the real calendar. When an Order-Ahead order is marked ready, it calls the customer. Nobody answers? It leaves a short voicemail, tries once more later, and falls back to a text. Every call opens by saying it is a machine, and one word — “stop” — ends it for good.
A no-show costs you the hour. A confirmation call costs you thirty seconds you do not have.
The text they did not read
Reminder texts work until they do not. A call gets an answer: yes, move it, or cancel — and a cancelled slot is a slot you can fill.
The order going cold on the counter
Marked ready, and the customer is still across town. Callline tells them the moment it happens, in a voice, not a notification they swiped away.
The calls nobody makes
Confirmations, ready-for-pickup, the “we have not seen you in a while”. Good for the business, never at the top of anyone’s list. Now they happen without a list.
Everything it does, in the order a call happens.
Callline does one job on the phone. Nothing here needs a manual, and nothing is bolted on for a feature list.
Confirms tomorrow’s appointments
Linked to Bookline, it calls each client the day before (you set how many hours). Yes marks them confirmed. “Can we do Thursday?” gets real openings and a move on the call. A cancellation frees the slot.
Calls when the order is ready
Order-Ahead marks an order ready; Callline calls the customer within the minute. Pickup questions are answered from the business facts. Under a minute, then it hangs up.
Leaves a voicemail, tries again, then texts
One short voicemail with who, what, when and your number. A second try ninety minutes later. Then a text: reply C to confirm. Never more than that.
Stays inside calling hours
Your window, in your time zone, defaults to 9 to 8. Never before 8 or after 9 whatever you set. A confirmation that would land after the appointment is dropped, not made.
Knows who not to call
A STOP text, a “don’t call me again” on a call, or a flip in the dashboard, and that number is out — for calls and texts — with a record of when and why.
Win-back calls, only with written consent
A friendly “we haven’t seen you in a while” to past clients, only for numbers that opted in in writing. The rule is in the database, not a setting someone can forget.
One location, real customers, a phone that will not stop.
Callline is priced and built for a single business. Add it to a Clearline app you already run, or start with it alone.

Who uses it
The things we got right on purpose.
A machine on your phone line has to be honest, careful, and on the record. These are the rules it cannot break.
- It says it is a machine. — Every outbound call opens with who is calling, from where, that it may be recorded, and that it is an automated assistant. Then the question.
- Opt-out is absolute. — STOP by text. “Don’t call me” on a call, even said in passing. A switch in the dashboard. Any of them, and the number is never dialled again. Logged, with proof.
- Informational calls only, unless you have it in writing. — Confirmations and order-ready calls go to people who gave you their number for that booking. Marketing calls go only to numbers with written consent. That line is enforced by the database.
- It cannot double-dial. — One job per appointment, claimed before it is dialled. Two copies of the scheduler cannot call the same person twice.
Your number, your name, your dashboard.
Every Callline is set up as your business, not as ours. Callers hear your name; the machine is the only thing that mentions Clearline.
The queue, in the open
Every call it is going to make, has made, and could not make, on one screen: who, when, why, what happened. Cancel one before it goes. See which ones are waiting on consent.
- Confirmed, moved, cancelled, no answer, texted
- Held for consent, and why
- One switch per kind of call
Consent you can show
A record per number: opted in or out, how, when. Import the customers who signed up in writing. Revoke one by hand. It is the sheet you would want if anyone ever asked.
- Every change kept, with proof
- STOP handled on our side and Twilio’s
- Written consent unlocks win-back calls
Read one before you talk to anyone.
A real transcript shape, with a sample business. Names and numbers are made up; the behaviour is exactly what your callers get.
- AssistantHi Dana, this is Ava calling from Shear Luck Salon. This call may be recorded, and I'm an automated assistant. I'm calling about your haircut with Maria on Friday at three fifteen. Can you still make it?
- CallerOh — actually, can we do Saturday morning instead?
- AssistantSure. Checking the calendar. Saturday with Maria I have nine thirty, ten fifteen, or eleven. Which works?
- CallerTen fifteen.
- AssistantMoving that for you. You're now booked Saturday at ten fifteen with Maria, and the Friday slot is released. You'll get a text the day before. Anything else?
- CallerNo, thanks.
- AssistantThanks, Dana. See you Saturday.
